Emergency Tooth Extractions
When it comes to your adult teeth, they are supposed to last for your entire life. However, that's not always the case. A tooth that is decayed or damaged beyond repair will probably require an emergency tooth extraction. If you are in a great deal of pain, don't wait. Our office accepts emergency calls to help with your dental needs, even when issues happen outside of the normal 9-5 business hours. Whether you have a broken tooth, a severely decayed tooth, or other issues that may require emergency tooth extractions, contact our team.
Emergency Tips

Please avoid taking aspirin; this will cause you to bleed more. We suggest ibuprofen, which will keep you comfortable until you are able to come and see us. If your tooth has been knocked out or chipped, attempt to save all missing pieces and bring them into our office when you’re scheduled.

If you have a toothache, clean the area around the sore tooth thoroughly. Rinse your mouth with warm salt water or use dental floss to dislodge trapped food or debris. Do not place aspirin on the gum or tooth. If face is swollen, apply a cold compress. Take acetaminophen for the pain.

At Edwin F. Johary, DDS., PA. Family Dentistry our goal is immediate resolution of your emergency, we will not allow you to leave our office still in pain. Trust our professionals with all of your dental emergencies; call today !
